I first bought these for autocamping not pets. I just want more ventilation when sleeping in the car. Judging by my photos, they fit perfectly. I installed them on my 2017 RAV4 front windows. I've seen other reviews that say you can't install them on windshields, but as you can see from the photos I did. Yes, it takes work, but the more you use it, the easier it gets. Unless you have a very small hand, you won't be able to get through the small gap. They may not fit other cars, but they will fit the RAV4. When camping, bipeds are my biggest concern, and they give me a little more protection. Although they are strong, you can rip them out of the window if you really want to. But there's no way you can put it down until I wake up and introduce you to my little friend. And the addition of a bug screen means no mosquitoes or other unwanted guests. Add a USB rechargeable fan for better air circulation and you can sleep like at home.
