Works as expected. Sturdy than I thought considering it's plastic. We used it when we went camping with dogs. We slept in the truck tent and they slept in the back seat. Allowed us to keep the windows open without fear of them escaping.

I love these window screens so much I bought 10 of them! At first I had 2 for use in the car, but then more came for the house. My cat likes to climb the window bars, damaging them and risking falling out, so I had to keep the windows closed. Now I can put these animal screens on the windows and open them a few inches. They work great!

If you have large dogs you cannot lower the window further than you can before there is a risk of them jumping over it. This prevents passers-by from trying to reach out and pet your dog so it still has some use. I bought it hoping I could keep rolling the windows. With small dogs, this allows you to turn the window a few inches more and be sure you don't escape.

I bought these after seeing something similar in a video to allow air to circulate in my car without leaving the windows open or closed. They arrived well before the advertised date and are beautifully made. Are they indestructible? No, but they seem strong enough that someone would have to exert themselves to bypass them. Many years ago I had a set that I always used with my little pup. They are very strong. It will take a bit of force to break into your car (again, ANYONE willing to break in will find a way!). I first bought these for autocamping not pets. I just want more ventilation when sleeping in the car. Judging by my photos, they fit perfectly. I installed them on my 2017 RAV4 front windows. I've seen other reviews that say you can't install them on windshields, but as you can see from the photos I did. Yes, it takes work, but the more you use it, the easier it gets.
