I bought the exact same bag in 2007 and got a lot of extras for it. I'm a teacher and science professor and I was told these additions by teenagers through university-level deans. Be sure to go with a lighter color as it looks great the longer it's in. The only reason I bought a new one was because the leather on the shoulder strap was torn at the seams. I got a new bag and I'm glad not much has changed except that the back pocket closes with a zipper instead of a magnet. It's perfect for carrying laptops, lots of paperwork to check and I use it as luggage wherever I go. Even European economy class commuter flights like Ryan Air fit in easily. I have tried every luxury brand and nothing beats the quality and durability of this item. I wouldn't buy it if I want it to look like new. It wears, fades and wears beautifully, and the more you use it, the more professional and intellectual you look. The perfect bag for a 15" laptop with plenty of space.
