Review on Wobbel Balance Board by Little Dove: Achieve Stability and Fun in Your Fitness Routine by Duane Kaul

First of all I have to say that the product itself is very durable and well made. However, the utility and value for money are disappointing. I bought all the hype from the reviews and was really excited about it. I was originally looking for a DIY hide and seek physics toy and thought it would be interesting and versatile. After all, it's just a board and nothing special. My 1 year old occasionally gets on it, rocks for a few seconds and then forgets. We tried to get her to do this by rolling cars/balls, sitting and rocking with her, and using her as a slide (mainly to justify her purchase and cost). It's not a very good glide because you immediately fall off the top of the turn and hit the ground. I've tried getting her to crawl under it and everything is fine. But I could probably do all of these things with household items like an ironing board or something. It's well made and solid, but my experience with this thing doesn't live up to all the rave 5 star reviews.
