Review on Sceptre C275B-1858RN: Edge Less FreeSync Display with 165Hz, Flicker-Free, Built-In Speakers, Wall Mountable & Blue Light Filter by William Barton

Just don't put it in the suitcase

This was my favorite monitor I have ever used. I went so far as to buy other similar Scepter monitors for friends and family as gifts because I was so impressed with their performance. Only it doesn't have a matte black screen that gets glare from the sun or bright lights in the room. I've had similarly sized monitors from Dell and Acer, but only the Scepter managed to avoid that glare. When moving, pack it in a suitcase instead of a regular box Let me tell you that the cost of repairing a curved monitor will always be more than just buying a replacement.

Pros
  • I don't know why it was almost $300, it was so little.
Cons
  • Poor color accuracy and brightness compared to other monitors.
