Bought the bottled liquid version and paid the price. I could no longer buy RODI water, refilling it was expensive. Prime has allowed me to add just the right amount to my tap water and make up for the evaporated water loss in my reef tank, but it has been getting more and more expensive. Prime allowed tap water to be used and since it removed nitrates and nitrites I had no negative results. So I found a concentrated powder form and it does the job well. I'll probably have a container for life as it lasts so long, but I won't be buying RODI water again. Spoonful of foundation powder and no problem adding water to evaporate. My parameters in the pool are absolutely stable. This is the only product that actually removes the nitrates and nitrites found in high concentrations in my city's tap water. I tested the water before adding the primer and the numbers are off the charts. I added Prime and tested the same water afterwards and absolutely fine. Good product. I have a colleague who was installing a brand new 40 gallon cube - I recommended using Prime and especially during the setup boot cycle and it made his transition easy, no nitrate spikes or nitrite issues, he was very happy.
