I was very skeptical about this product but my wife convinced me it was worth a try. I've tried a few cheaper mechanical foot massagers to get rid of the numbness in my feet but to no avail. I haven't had feeling in my legs for a few years. Both my doctor and chiropractor dismissed my complaints, neither of them seemed to think it was a cause for concern so I figured I just had to live with it. But thanks to my wife's encouragement, I installed this device, put my bare feet on the footrests, and started increasing the SOLE setting until my calf muscles started twitching (about 70 on the display). The built-in timer switches the device off after 25 minutes. I got up and felt an immediate improvement - for the first time in years I actually felt the ground beneath my feet! Woke up this morning and still felt. Another session and more feelings returned. I wouldn't have believed this story if it hadn't happened to me. Maybe my nerve issues were exactly what this device was designed for and you might have other issues that don't respond as well or as quickly, but to me this is nothing short of a miracle. Update: After a little over a week of daily use, the daily improvement isn't as dramatic as day one, but compared to the week before, there's no doubt the improvement is continuing. I regained probably 40% of the feeling in my legs! It may not be as dramatic as sight returning after going blind, but after years of missing sensory input from my feet, my mind is relearning how to process these new sensations. Kind of strange to feel shoes on your feet or a carpet under your bare feet after so many years!
