Pea Protein contains all the amino acids and BCAAs needed for muscle growth, just like whey; it is dairy free and cruelty free. I have a slight lactose intolerance. The serum sits oddly in the stomach, sometimes causing nausea. Gassy.Whey is smoother when mixed with liquids, pea protein is thick and slightly grainy. But because it's easier to digest and a clean source of protein (no hormones, steroids, or GMOs), I choose peas. For a strong combination, use almond milk and/or brown rice protein powder, but this is optional. Pea protein works well in baked goods and savory products where whey protein is gummy and dry. It works as a 1:1 flour substitute. Thicken cookies, pancakes, muffins, soups just to name a few things it can do. It requires more liquid when cooking/baking as it is super absorbent like coconut flour. I've tried dozens of protein sources over the past 15 years and keep coming back to them. 7 pounds of product for $41 is a lot. No sweetener, no flavor, nothing to interfere with your diet, plus it's very versatile so you can do whatever you want. VICTORY
