I put this blanket at the side of my bed where my cat sleeps every night on the floor. He was getting cat hair all over the carpet which wasn’t always easy to clean. I decided to put the blanket in that spot and see if he liked it. He LOVES it! Not only does he sleep on it at night, but now I catch him sleeping on it during the day as well. And it sure helps keep the cat hair off the carpet! I haven’t tried washing it in the washing machine yet so I can’t comment on that, but so far this has been a good purchase and my cat just looks so much more comfy. I think he appreciates the added padding and softness. I got the large one so he has room to stretch out on it. It’s the perfect size for our 12 pound cat.
