Although this belt is plastic I decided to try it and bought it. The first day was ok. But then I started noticing issues with the belt. The buckle consists of two clips. The bottom brace holds the buckle at the end of the strap, the second brace holds the strap in place and is used for tightening. The problem with this buckle is that when you try to tighten the belt with the top clip, the bottom clip keeps releasing the end of the belt. This plastic buckle is very frustrating as it looks like a Chinese trap trying to tighten the belt. If you lift the top clamp too far, the bottom clamp will disengage and you'll have to start over. I'll probably glue the bottom clip to my belt and try it out. Then the strap could be good at that moment.
