The perfect butter dish! I was looking for an oiler that would look neat after the first swipe of a new stick of butter. It fits the bill because it's solid rather than transparent, and the bowl is deep rather than dished like. The oil stays away from the rim, and brushing the excess oil off the knife around the rim keeps it in the bowl and not on the rim. We only hold one stick at a time, but it easily holds two next to each other, and you can stack two more for a full pound if you like. Green is a classic kitchen colour, the die cut design on the outside is appealing, I can leave it on the table or put it on the table while eating and it looks great.
