So this butter dish is great. Not only does it look older than dirt, but it keeps my asshole from eating oil every day. Now I can omit the oil so it gets soft and squishy at room temperature and I don't have to worry about the cat messing up her guts and splashing liquid feces all over her already disgusting litter box. So if you're like me and like an old or vintage look and are also tired of scraping your cat's normal putty off his or her litter box then I highly recommend this butter dish.

I waited a long time before buying because of the price. I recently received an old green butter dish and the handle on the lid was crooked. I then ordered a replacement, but this cap doesn't fit as snugly to the base as the original cap I was looking to replace. I love the product and plan to keep it. The perfect butter dish! I was looking for an oiler that would look neat after the first swipe of a new stick of butter. It fits the bill because it's solid rather than transparent, and the bowl is deep rather than dished like. The oil stays away from the rim, and brushing the excess oil off the knife around the rim keeps it in the bowl and not on the rim. We only hold one stick at a time, but it easily holds two next to each other, and you can stack two more for a full pound if you like. Green
