I've recently started putting my son to sleep and locking him in my room and crib at night and I needed a camera that would give me full remote access. I can check on him and make sure he's alright and also listen. An alert will appear when motion or crying is detected, and a quick photo will be taken. This helps me know if he's just moving or if he's really awake and crying for a while. Then I know if I really have to go to his room or just wait. The image quality during day and night is quite good. You also have the option of using a cloud service or an SD card to save the video and even without that you can still save a picture or a short video on your phone if you are watching live and have a sweet moment or whatever see . want to capture. It came with a mounting sticker and it sticks to the wall pretty well. It doesn't rotate so it only shows the cot as I'm mostly concerned with when it sleeps. I really like this camera more than other expensive baby monitors. Would definitely buy again or recommend to anyone looking for something simple but effective.
