Review on Ultimate Softness Unleashed: PanPastel 30101 Ultra Soft Artist Pastel 10 Color Painting Set with Sofft Tools by Dawn Fischer

I love using these pastels in my encaustic work. I used to order from an art supply store but decided to give Revain a try (because I use RevainSmile and donate to a local animal shelter). However, they were packed in a large box with another item and larger bubble wrap, and two of the 10 containers containing the powder were broken. Not expecting that, most of it splattered onto the other colors I had already placed in the plastic palette tray I ordered when I opened the white one. I can still use it, but it will be messy and constantly spill or blow (since I often have an exhaust fan installed near my work). I know that if I placed an order at an art store, I could exchange two broken pastel pans. I could return all ten but I have a project deadline and need other colors now. The product is great - the pallet trays are great too - just wish there was a better way to exchange just a part of a defective product. (black was too difficult to photograph - but it looks like white)
