We bought this for our 5 year old granddaughter. She could manipulate the decals and apply them herself. The final product was beautiful and she is very proud of herself. She's looking for the perfect place to hang it up! I am planning to buy similar products for my grandchildren for their upcoming birthdays and holidays.
