I got it as a reading table that I can put up by the window, but it also looks like it could also serve as a small mobile hobby table. A bit pricey but great quality that should outlive me. The base is fully welded steel with some kind of powder coating. Too bad it's all white; beige would be better. The rear casters and front legs are easy to assemble, making it easy to be mobile while staying in working order. The pneumatic height adjustment works easily and smoothly without feeling like the table is about to be raised, although you shouldn't leave your glass on it when adjusting! It ranges from too low to sit to high enough to stand. The table top is a beautiful Fine Wood Formica/melamine surface with subtle wood grains and a premium decorative ring around the edges. The tilt adjuster takes a WD-40 shot but has 6 settings from horizontal (not mentioned) to vertical (useless). Very happy with this purchase.
