The floorboards are ok, all hardware should be chrome when you see them. Washers and lock washers are not chrome plated. Using lock washers on the heel and toe side is not possible as the hex head will stick out too far and hit the shifter. They should suggest using red or blue Loctite on the small hex head screws that level the boards and on the hex head screw that adjusts the tension of the ball bearing to avoid flipping the bottom board long enough to adjust the tension. I suggest using Loctite on most screws to keep them from falling out after adjustment. On the derailleur side you can use hex bolts that heal on the stock footpegs so they don't hit the derailleur. There are no instructions that you wouldn't need if there weren't built-in bugs.
