To be honest when I opened this package I was disappointed. I thought the camera was a little bigger than it was. Not DSLR sized but slightly larger than most point and shoot cameras. After a few days of disappointed watching, I finally said "Fuck it", put in the battery and SD card, got out and was about to take a few photos. I took about 100 pictures on the first day, mostly nature. I got home and sat down and started scrolling through the photos I had taken. All my photos looked very disappointing on the small screen, but after I downloaded them to my computer, they looked MUCH better. I couldn't believe how good they turned out, I sent a few to my colleagues, friends and family and everyone thought I found these pictures on the internet. If that doesn't say anything about the image quality, I don't know what does. After owning it for a few months, I decided to give video recording a try. I figured since he takes great photos, he should make great videos too. boy was i wrong! The video quality on this one is terrible, not sure if I did something wrong or maybe the settings are a bit messed up, but my video came out very pixelated and grainy. I immediately turned off my computer, grabbed this camera and stashed it in my desk drawer while on vacation. If you only want to take photos with it I'd say buy it, but if you expect to get both photos and videos of it you might want to look elsewhere.
