Ideal casters for guitar amp/cabinets

I've never had a problem or complaint with Reliable Hardware and these casters are no exception. They fit easily into my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Ⅲ with a little drilling. In addition, the insert reels also fit snugly into the VHT 2x12 Cab reel slots from which I previously lost the detachable reels. You just can't beat the price for the quality. I have ordered a lot and will order more.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Socket required

"Plug and Play ". good fit for industrial trucks

They fit perfectly in my (probably early 70's) 2x15" case. I don't need to use brackets as the wheels fit right into the body. Originals so I guess I build my parts collection just put them on so i can't tell it from the real world but from the looks of it the wheels are no stronger than the original wheels and in fact the axle of the wheel looks a little less strong but they actually are damn near exact match, so I'm happy.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Facilitates getting in and out of nightclubs and .

I used these on one of my smaller Marshall 4 x 12 guitar cabinets Makes it very easy to get in and out of nightclubs and saves you having to lug the cab back to your car. I wish the wheels were a bit stiffer and the wheels don't take bumpy tarmac or slick concrete pavement. If you've ever had an anvil body with slightly larger wheels, you know what I'm talking about. Overall a good buy!

Just what I need good for plate rolls

It has made my life so much easier. I bought 2 Ip3000 TurboSound sound systems which I really like. But lifting this closet monster isn't for me, and I'm not paying $200 apiece for a set of casters. These work perfectly. I removed the rubber feet. just drilled big holes where the legs were where the screws went and voila! I just roll them off the trailer. Install them and then remove the wheels. It doesn't take much force to get the wheels out. Very easy installation for any auxiliary housing…

Great replacement for Marshall screws in reel cups!

When well-known brands cost twice as much, I decided to try them. I put them in the bottom of a Marshall 4x12 guitar case to replace plastic Marshall roller cups that break or need rollers screwing in. The screw holes matched almost perfectly, and the hole required for the socket was the right size, so no modifications or additional holes were needed. Wheels go in and out with no problems. They roll well. Remember that no screws are included. For me this was not a problem as I could reuse the…

The good news is that they fit!

I finally have wheels on my 1963 Gibson Mercury amp. The amp came with sockets but no wheels. Wanted to try the commercials from the hardware store but had my doubts. I happened to see these Fender style pulleys and a lot of people said they fit their other brands of amps so I gave them a try. They fit perfectly! I had to tighten them a bit but it's good, they are very snug. I had to deduct a star because one of the wheel rods didn't have a locking ring. I made my own ring and it stuck but they

Excellent wheels. No screws.

Put these on an 85W 2x12" Fender '65 Twin Reverb Combo Amp that weighs over 70 pounds. They carry the weight with no problem. Roll and rotate smoothly. Needed a 5/8" bit to drill holes for the bushings. Most drill sets will fit up to 1/2" so wait for a run at the store or pre-order from Revain if you don't have one. . Once the hubs are attached to the booster, the wheels simply snap into place. I was disappointed in the lack of screws to attach the bushings. (It cost her a fifth star.) I used…

Good price! Fits my 72' Super Reverb with Original Equipment bushings

Reliable Hardware Company RH-9006-SET-A Plug-In with sockets Wheel diameter 2" Fender style wheels - set of 4 prongs. ! I have a 72" Super Reverb with the original bushings and they fit perfectly with no issues. Insert, lock and pull out with little force but just enough to hold them in place when lifting. That's great considering the cost of vintage ($25-30 per reel) or even Fender knockoffs. I highly recommend them if you are not looking for all original vintage videos. I didn't have to…

Excellent value for money but may require adjustments for a secure fit

Looks the same as more expensive branded products. You can't beat the price, but I had a problem with a pair of these wheels: they were too loose in their sockets. One wheel kept falling out. Although the solution was pretty simple. The wheels are held in their seats by pressure/friction by a brass ring cut around the shaft. I inserted needle nose pliers into the gaps in the brass rings and used them (in reverse order as spreaders) to expand the rings outward. It only needed a small adjustment…
