7/13/20: If your Nintendo Switch controllers are suffering from drift problems, these thumb sticks are the perfect solution. The JoyCon showed signs of drift for a few months. I've "repaired" my JoyCon twice after it showed signs of drifting, but the Nintendo repair service couldn't solve the problem, as could countless others who had the same problem. I then bought replacement Joycons but they ended up with the same fate. I tried every Nintendo troubleshooting method but none of them worked. Last week I almost decided to buy another replacement controller, but then I thought it might be worth replacing the joystick. Taking the JoyCon apart is not an easy task, but if you have the time and are very precise, it can be done. I took the JoyCon apart several times, so the process took me a maximum of 30 minutes. New joystick works like new! I didn't even have to recalibrate the joystick, but I did it anyway and so far it's working great. It is 99% identical to the Nintendo joystick. The groove where the thumb sits is slightly deeper, which actually feels more comfortable than the original thumb. I even had rubber thumb covers in my order and they fit perfectly! I've tried several different cases and they all interfere with the thumbstick movement, but not the one that came with my purchase. I'll update my review if anything happens after that, so I hope the new sticks last a while. I don't mind replacing them later with the extra joystick that came with my order because the process was so easy for me. I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase!
