I was looking for a solution that would allow me to use older laptops with limited ports to connect two external monitors in a small office environment. I wanted a solution that would allow DisplayLinks to be used for two monitors. Additional USB 3.0 ports and ports for charging were also mandatory. I bought two Plugable USB 3.0 Dual 4K Docking Stations. Both workstations work great. I've used all displayports and USB drives with no issues. Both laptop shutdown and sleep mode have been tested, in both cases either power on or wake up mode, all connections are shown and USB works as expected. Before purchasing, I contacted Plubable support to ask and get answers on a few questions. well acquainted with their product line, secondly they were responsive. This is my first purchase of connected products and based on my experience I can say that they will be my first port of call for office equipment in the future.
