Definitely saves time and effort
I'm a "frugal" person by nature and this junk genius system initially seemed like something I didn't need. I WAS WRONG. Instead of shoveling things into a small throwbag and taking them outside once a day, I now shovel during the day and only go outside once a week (for 3 cats). These bags are easy to install and seem to last about a month each, but it depends on how many cats you have.
