I used the flat end to scrape off some glue I had on my bathroom tile and it worked very well as a kind of narrow spatula. So it's pretty strong. A word of caution, the pointed end is REALLY SHARP. When I pressed the flat end, I accidentally positioned the pointed end next to the flesh of my arm and actually inserted it a few millimeters into the flesh of my arm. So you have to be very careful with the pointed end. I strongly recommend keeping it away from children. It looks like a toy but is too dangerous for children.
