Review on Tesora by Joshua Mccall

As an Oracle DBA, I used to work with several different RDBMSs over the years, including Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, and others. But I really enjoy working in Trove. It makes me feel like I'm back at my Oracle 9i/SQL*Plus days! I especially appreciate the easy access to stored procedures via the web interface. The documentation is also very helpful. I've been able to solve some of my more complex problems by writing custom code rather than using the native features. There are so many things that you can do when writing your own code. For example, one thing I couldn't figure out how to do was write dynamic queries. That's why I wrote my own query library.
