Will not fit 2010 Ford Escape
I only bought these to tow kayaks on my car roof. These crossbars did not fit my 2010 Ford Escape XLT. Luckily I was able to modify them to fit. I had to cut about 3 inches with a saw and drill two new screw holes to attach the crossbar to the plastic ends. They seem to be working fine now, but that was unnecessary fuss. Also, the road noise increased slightly as we approached 60mph+.
