Fairy lights do not burn to the top of the candle.

Charming concept! Looks great! Fairy lights don't burn as long as the tip of a candle. Within the first few hours, the garlands stopped working on a third of the strands I laid out. The duration of the string was so short that I knew it couldn't be a battery issue since the batteries were brand new. The tip of the candle burned for quite a long time, but longer (I did not measure this time). It also seems like a waste of those fairly hard-to-find batteries that don't come in rechargeable form. I will look for the same concept in a product that uses a rechargeable battery.
