Requires installation of traditional thicker rudders.
Tried on 3 different club boats but didn't fit yet. All have larger diameter steering wheels than this article allows. So while it rotates smoothly and is awkward to put on and take off (every time I try to use it I have to carry the right socket wrench in my boat bag), it's far from useless. Maybe there is a steering wheel somewhere with a 1 1/4" hole that fits this knob.
