This is twice the weight listed on my scale - 15.8 oz. The auto sleep/wake function doesn't work either (tested, correct setting enabled). This is a very durable case that I'm sure will offer excellent protection from drops. The stand is great too. The magnetic connection provides a solid platform for watching movies or sports while sitting in your chair or lying in bed. Too heavy and thick for everyday use.
