I have done several 3D puzzle models by various companies to test my patience as well as challenge my gnarled, rheumatoid arthritic "paws" at my age 69, having had RA since age 22. I have never done one of these types of builds before but I was a major Lego kid and my day job has me putting small things together all the time. I wasn't big on plastic model kits when I was younger because all the paint, decal, and burr removal was way over my attention span. This was one of the greatest things I've received. This puzzle comes in several sheets and by following the instructions you pop out the pieces and assemble the truck or other machine you bought. The pieces are somewhat fragile, but they were prepared for that giving you PLENTY of extra pieces.The only criticism I have is that I wish they included some tweezers or a tool to push the pieces out. It can get painful after doing it for so long.

This review is from my husband. He mentioned that the directions were easy to follow. He found the Individual parts to be clearly marked. He also said the concept is good but he found that the parts break easily and are rather flimsy. After working on it for several days he finally gave up on it. Not for him. I think it's a nice 3D puzzle. I gave it 4 starts for detail, concept, and instructions.

In my ongoing quest to not read the detail on items I purchase, I excelled here by not realizing this wasn't a toy that's already put together.The directions are a bit hard to follow for a young person, but adult supervision helps. Once together it's a great item and overall a great STEM activity.

This kit uses thin 1/8” plywood rather than old balsa wood for its parts. It is much stronger and can withstand a reasonable amount of force during assembly. The plywood has been precut using a very fine laser. It is a wonder to behold. Extremely fine cut lines and lettering. Very fine attention to detail. This puzzle was a lot of fun to put together. It is a little bit difficult. I would definitely recommend having an X-Acto blade on hand to help with taking out the pieces some come out really easy. Others are a little difficult so to avoid breaking. I use a X-Acto knife. Does come with sandpaper to help some pieces fit better but be careful not to sand too much made that mistake. This would be a great gift for a hobbyist or somebody with a lot of patience.

I have built many Rokr puzzles in my time. Many of them much more sophisticated than these like The Marble run mazes that they make. Side note those are also super fun but are very much for adults to be able to. What a neat little model puzzle. The instructions were very straightforward, concise, and easy to follow along with. The pieces pop out of the finely (i assume) laser etched stencil framework easily enough with a satisfying snap. There are extra pieces of the easy to break parts which saves on frustration. I found this to be difficult and tedious to assemble. I would not recommend it for an 8 as stated on the listing. It would be much more appropriate for an older child, 12+ years. It is not an simple wooden puzzle at all. You have to figure out how to match the pieces to the picture instructions by number. Fun puzzle and a great present for kids and young-at-heart grown-ups. It's a flat box, about the dimensions of a DVD jewel-case. Means it can be send in the mail.

This comes with tons of instructions on putting it together. It's a bit complicated. However, once it is finished it is good for my kids.
