I have built many Rokr puzzles in my time. Many of them much more sophisticated than these like The Marble run mazes that they make. Side note those are also super fun but are very much for adults to be able to. Anyways, this can easily be for kids because it's not as complicated however removing the cutouts can be quite testing and parts can break if they're not handled properly. Luckily this company stands behind their product and you can easily request a replacement however because they are based out of a foreign country it takes about six to eight weeks to receive your replacement part. So with that being said I would recommend that an adult be present at all times. This is a fantastic project to do with your child because it allows you to handle the more complicated Parts but allows them to do the simple snap together stuff and in the end together you come out with a super fun toy or even what I like to do is put them on a display shelf in my kids room. We really enjoy doing these and I look forward to more!
