There was no remote control provided with the lights I received, which is fine because I have no intention of using them in any other mode than steady glow. The are certainly light and flexible, and although my camera doesn't do them justice, a visually bright. Since I am elderly and do not have the capability of installing a larger set, I found these "fairy lights" quite acceptable. I am a big ThruNite fan and own several of their other products. I have read reviews and watched YouTube videos about the issue this model has with Turbo mode. I was hopeful the company had corrected the problem, but the unit I received did the same thing as others have complained about. When I double-clicked to access Turbo mode it literally will flash Turbo brightness for less than a second before stepping down to a much lower brightness. Absolutely love this product. Got it today around 7pm and it was fully assembled by 8:30pm. They have instructions but the pictures on them are unclear. The instructions really aren't necessary though. They are very very easy to assemble. They give you some extra nails too which is nice. Will definitely buy again. See full review

So i purchased the battery a year ago and had an issue with it where it just totally died. I contacted the company and they are very responsive via email. I use this little book every day. I’m a Police Officer and this is the perfect size to fit in a pocket. The replaceable field books are great and the leather cover protects them from damage.
