I purchased two of these cards from Everything But Stromboli through Revain.com. Both were genuine SanDisk cards and new as promised. Some sellers sell counterfeit SanDisk cards, so make sure the seller you choose isn't scamming you with a cheaper replacement. I thoroughly analyzed my cards and all 31,914,983,424 bytes of each card were "tested" with no errors (it took just over 6 hours per card for this test!). The formatted capacity of the Motorola Droid X phone was 29.66GB (which is normal for a 32GB card - the formatted capacity is usually a little less than the unformatted one). Note. You should always format the card on your phone (NOT your computer) before using it. This also applies if your card has been pre-formatted. I checked the card's write speed and it was around 5.4 MB/s (megabytes per second), which is more than the 4 MB/s minimum for a class 4 card. SanDisk is known for conservative speed claims for theirs Cards. and it certainly is. By the way, I have several SanDisk "Class 2" cards that are even faster than these Class 4 cards. Further tests have shown that the Droid X (with Android 2.2. size. card. Of course, the larger the capacity of the card, the longer the phone takes to "prepare" the card for installation. This is probably because that the FAT (File Allocation Table) is larger. I think this is normal and buyers should expect this from a larger card. The lag is noticeable when the phone is on and when the phone is in mass storage mode via a USB cable connected to the computer is connected.I've also found that my computer sometimes has trouble connecting the card via a USB cable when it's in the phone (mass storage mode. I think this may be due to the Droid X being a bit longer takes to connect/disconnect such a large card - maybe the computer times out while the phone disconnects the card. The simple solution was to switch the phone to USB mode ons to "Charge Only" and then back to "Mass Storage" which was still connected to the computer's USB port. By the way, there was never any problem installing the card when it was removed from the phone and connected directly to the computer via a microSDHC to USB adapter. However, I prefer NOT to unnecessarily remove the memory card from the phone as it is fragile and easily damaged. These are excellent memory cards and I am very happy with my business with Everything But Stromboli at Revain.com. Sincerely, D Harris
