Summary: I use SD cards in 3D printers at work so thought this would be a good addition to increase storage space. However, the list price (>$53) is much higher than other comparable offerings. The reading and writing speeds via the included adapter were very good (310 MB/s writing, 530 MB/s reading). Details: Primary desktop is a Dell XPS 8920. System drive is a 250GB SSD. Two more hard drives for data, 1.0 TB and 6.0 TB. External USB ports: USB-C 3.1 (rear), USB-A 3.1 (rear), USB-A 3.0 (front). The difference in transfer speed between front (3.0) and rear (3.1) was negligible. Test Method: The test program I use is ATTO Disk Benchmark (free software). I tried several different ones and settled on this one because the resulting image was relatively easy to compare to other results. When evaluating the results, I mainly paid attention to the transfer rate of files from 1 MB. Comparison: compared to SEKC 256GB USB 3.1. The Unirex drive is much faster: read (530 vs. 190 MB/s), write (310 MB/s vs. 57 MB/s). .Pro: Adapter included; blue LED indicator on the adapter; high transmission speed; Cons: price. Conclusion: A very fast drive, but be sure to compare it with the best offer that suits your needs. dp/B07PM9D3T7
