For better or for worse, I stay longer at the dining table.
1 inch of foam isn't much to cover a hard seat surface, regardless of the density. I used this with an existing 1 inch shift and my 215 lbs just didn't hit the limit. That was my goal. After going through this process a few times, I just have to assume that 1.5 inches is the minimum for hard surface coverage. It appears to be a good quality foam and should hold its volume. Good seller too. The dining room chairs and the computer chair are finally comfortable.
