There are two needs for case protection and handling. I'm a stroke victim, I have a movable arm. Therefore, protection is secondary to conversion. When holding with one hand, a hold on the body is vital. To keep it from slipping and holding tight. It does a great job. Being an introvert I ordered another case which was more expensive but it was slippery and didn't suit my needs. As for protection, I only need a small hem for the frontal protection it offers. For those who need a sturdier case, a different case may better meet your needs.
