I bought a used Apple Watch 3 (42mm) from a family member.but was in Rose Gold. This isn't the color I would have liked but for pennies on the dollar, I wasn't going to complain. I researched options to "hide" the watch color and came across this band/case. Looked like it would do the job and had a G-Shock-esque look to it (which I LOOOOVE my G-Shock watch!) so I decided to give this a go. For the price, I figured it would be either a good deal or an experiment gone wrong.To my pleasant surprise, the item does an AMAZING job of hiding the color of the watch. For me, this was ideal.and so I'm giving this 5 stars. If you are wanting to highlight the watch color and other aesthetics aspects of the watch, then this may not be the band/case combo for you.The band/case combo is made of light rubber/plastic (can't tell which) that has a matte finish. The clasp itself is made of metal. Placing the watch into the bandcase was super easy and getting it out isn't hard. Just be careful when removing it as it does take a little bit of force to do so, and when it does come out, it can do so with velocity.so if you're not careful, you'll shoot it on the ground and potentially damage the watch face/casing. The case does offer some bump protection and all watch functionality remains intact.including charging the watch while housed in the band/case.Overall - pretty satisfied with the purchase. If I choose to upgrade the watch in the future, I may not use this but would be helpful to have around in case I know I'm going to be in a place or doing activity where I want a little more protection.
