Affordable tactical speaker/mic for Baofeng radios. If you connect a 3.5mm 4pin audio cable to Baofeng 3.5mm audio jack, you can still hear the sound played through the audio jack and speaker/microphone at the same time. It's not good for tactical purposes. I connect the other end of this audio cable to my Razor electronic coupler, so all sound goes through my headset and no one nearby can hear what's coming through the radio's speaker/mic. Basically, when the 3.5mm audio cable is plugged into the speaker/microphone audio jack, the sound will no longer pass through the speaker. Instead, the sound only goes through the audio jack. This speaker/mic feels massive and solid compared to the Baofeng speakers/mics that come with their radios. Non-military phone with speaker/microphone. On the other hand, I can't afford a military-grade communications system (>$1400). noise discipline.
