Review on 🔧 JACS Samsung Dryer Repair Kit - DC93-00634a Idler Pulley with Belt & 6602-001655 Replacement Part for Samsung DC97-07509b - AP4373659 AP6038887 Compatible by Besim Kahsar

When replacing the heating element, thermostat, fuse (3 times) and thermistor in our Samsung dryer I noticed that the pulley was also stuck and the belt was rubbing a hole in the pulley. At the recommendation of another reviewer, I purchased an upgraded single ball bearing pulley to replace the broken one. Luckily I caught it before the engine burned out. The pulley mounts easily with a shoulder screw on the back of the engine case bracket. On our model (dw42x5000ev) the pulley was not an exact replacement as the original was made with extra metal spacing around the mounting hole (i.e. the replacement is thinner at the joint). The included screw solves this problem with a shorter shank but does not match the threaded hole in the mount. Long story short, I used the original bolt and washer and it all came back together easily. The drum now rotates much more easily and the dryer is quieter. My advice: if you find yourself in one of these dryers, fix the heating element or something. , replace everything at once: pulley, belt, heating element, thermostat high-temperature fuse, thermostat and thermistor (in the fan housing). Unless. you can do this. You can do this. All the parts put together by Revain vendors shouldn't cost you more than $50 and the only tool you need is a Phillips head screwdriver - very basic (Of course I have that Made 4 times in that many weeks because I don't heed this tip in advance so I can now be a Samsung Certified Dryer Technician).
