Okay, this is a cloth pin that cannot be washed. So those who write REALLY bad reviews are unrealistic in my opinion. It's a tailor's chalk so I don't know what they were expecting. The output size is good and easy to use. But like any chalk, it wears out and eventually cracks - then it gets a little harder to work with, but it still works well until its chunks get super tiny. The color palette is good, allowing you to pick one that contrasts with your fabric. If you press too hard, yes it will break. THIS IS MEL. Really, what can you expect for $10?
