I bought this strap for my Seiko H558 5009: The supplied spring pin broke after 5 days. I wasted an hour trying to pry the pin off the watch case with a good spring bar tool. I've tried many different methods and unfortunately ended up cutting the band off with wire cutters and then using strong wire cutters to cut the spring bar next to the case. During this pathetic process I scratched the watch several times. Note to Seiko H558 5009 owners: This is not an original strap design. Instead of this band design with 3 speed bumps, the original Seiko H558 5009 band has a flat rectangle, rather thin design. Much more comfortable to wear and breathe.
