Complete failure above 81'F

Conclusion: The product is useless if your dashboard is in the sun and the relative temperature is above 81'F. Now for the story. Charger City, you accidentally pissed me off on the wrong day. I bought FOUR, yes FOUR of these products. I LOVE WAZ. And car manufacturers haven't yet realized that we want the freedom to use our own applications in their cars. So yes, each of my cars has a giant. I bought one of these first to test. I liked it but it was winter. I didn't think about the consequences of the rise in temperature. In the beginning it was love at first sight. The hippopotamus sat on the dashboard. Didn't move. Did exactly what I wanted. Our relationship was perfect for three months. Then it happened. Texas went from winter to spring in one day. We've reached 81'F. I went to the car after a long day at work, opened the hippo the way I do at least TWICE a day. Look at my confusion when the top of the hippo split open leaving the rubber grip underneath. The glue on the upper rubber grip has come loose. The hippopotamus will not work without a rubber grip. The phone is stuck. So, the last two days I have to open the clamp now, then with the clamp open. Grasp the grip and now try to hold the clip and grip together and now also try to insert the phone to make sure the whole thing is secure. three parts. Everyone is now exercising their free will. Needless to say, that really doesn't work anymore. So. Here we go down the rabbit hole. What should we do as consumers? We just accept that it's part of life. Today I decide to take a stand. I'm tired of inferior products. It feels like I bought a cheap Chinese fake of a good product. But is it? Is ANYBODY in Charger City actually using this product in an environment exceeding 81 feet Fahrenheit? Are we so apathetic to downplaying the quality of a product that we now just accept bad quality? Is American Wal-Marting acceptable? I have experience in quality management and know that my products are worth more money. I know that price is the hardest hurdle to overcome. I understand that ChargerCity probably saved some money by manufacturing this product overseas. And somewhere someone probably snagged a box that had a cheaper glue option. BUT THE PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK. Now if I'm being honest. NO. The other three Behemoths sit on the dash of my other three cars. All of them are conveniently housed in the garage. I have yet to ride them in over 81'F. Could the one in my Daily Driver be the only discrepancy? Of course he could. If that's the case, Charger City, I'll refute it with a one in four chance. BUT NOW. I take a stand. I no longer speak of the poor quality of the product. I'll probably be an ass and do all the returns just for being an ass. It's my fourth Monday of the week and Charger City, sorry, you've drawn the ire of an angry consumer. We all have to take a stand. We cannot accept mediocre products.
