DO NOT USE! As expected, the iPod needed charging. After trying to charge it 3 or 4 times and letting it charge for several hours each time, as soon as I took out the charger it always showed a low battery and said the iPod needs to be connected to the charger. However, when I kept it on the charger, I got a message that the iPod needed to be formatted. Thinking that formatting might fix the loading problem, I tried formatting it on my iturnes account. NOTHING YET! NO CHARGING! WITHOUT FORMATTING! Request an exact replacement. Fingers crossed.
