Review on Peak Design SL-AS-3 Slide Camera Strap Ash: Premium Comfort for Photographers by Jose Wititsuwannakul

Durable and Versatile

I didn't like this strap because of the price, but it really is the best camera strap I've ever used. I have a Canon 6D Mark II and it's so heavy I can't wear it around my neck without getting a headache, so I started looking into camera shoulder straps. The problem with carrying a camera over your shoulder is that the strap often doesn't have enough slack to also rotate the camera to all the angles you want to hold it against your face. Choose the Peak Design Slide strap. Adjustment is so easy that I can carry the camera over my shoulder and then quickly adjust to have enough slack to hold the camera against my face without removing it from the strap. In addition, the quick release allows me to easily remove the camera from the strap when the strap is under a backpack or something uncomfortable to also remove the camera + strap around me. The color is classy, the strap looks like it's made out of a seat belt, and I love the sheen. What confused me at first was that the grippy portion of the strap was facing up when the adjustment knobs were in the correct position, but the grippy portion of the strap is grippy enough that I can see why they decided it was after shows above. I wore this belt. on my camera through Asia and since then every day in my city. This is a great camera strap, far superior to my previous Black Rapid strap. Skip the Black Threshold and go straight to it - you will be very happy.
