Review on Hyperikon 40 50W Equivalent Lighting Bedroom by Shari Man

These bulbs are a great cost effective alternative to LEDs for traditional MR16 halogen bulbs. However, they are not true 2700K colors and have a low CRI (color rendering index). These bulbs are great for illuminating your everyday living spaces, hallways, bedrooms and bathrooms. I would not recommend them for lighting artwork as 2 of the 6 bulbs I received have the purple and green tones you can see in the picture. The first light on the right is very purple. Also, they have a slightly different brightness, which means that some of them are slightly lighter and slightly dimmer than others. As I said, decent replacement halogen bulbs, but I wouldn't recommend them for color critical applications.
