Does not work with dimmers

Purchased for recessed downlights on a modern dimmer (Kasa). I have a very bad result. The lower limit is binary, it's either fairly bright or all off. At high frequencies, some bulbs hummed while others flickered heavily. I ended up replacing the dimmable mr16 with w Bioluz led which also didn't dim but worked properly with no flickering or buzzing. Next time I will try Philips. I can just switch to halogen if I can't get a nice warm dimmer. Philips claims that they design some of their LED…

Decent quality LED bulbs - low color rendering index - not true 2700K

These bulbs are a great cost effective alternative to LEDs for traditional MR16 halogen bulbs. However, they are not true 2700K colors and have a low CRI (color rendering index). These bulbs are great for illuminating your everyday living spaces, hallways, bedrooms and bathrooms. I would not recommend them for lighting artwork as 2 of the 6 bulbs I received have the purple and green tones you can see in the picture. The first light on the right is very purple. Terrible flickering while repairing. I don't know why.

Retro fitted to an 18 year old 12v track (each bulb/box has its own transformer) with Lutron dimmable switch. It flickered terribly. Well, about five minutes and everyone would blink at the same time. On the card that was sent to me, I wrote to technical support asking for advice. Two weeks later no response. Replaced dimmable switch with modern Leviton TSL06 LED switch ($19). $50 later (cost of switch + bulbs) and a few hours of work and I'm back where I started. I believe that glowing…
