This unit works great as described and is an incredible value. With this device and the free OBS software, I was able to use my laptop as a TV. Just a tip for any OBS noob like me. If you don't hear any sound, you need to enable audio monitoring. To use the audio monitoring feature, click "Edit" -> "Advanced Audio Properties" and set the "Audio Monitoring" option to "Monitor Only" or "Monitor and Output". This is a plug and play device for Windows. This dongle allowed me to use the Nintendo Switch with my laptop's screen.
