Review on Skullcandy Sesh Evo True Wireless In-Ear Earbud - Chill Grey: Unbeatable Sound and Style! by Ahmad ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch and I recommend the product for purchase.

Before that, I managed to listen to many TWS, especially from JBL - either the sound is weak, or the landing in the ear is strange, or both, plus frequent disconnections with the phone. I went with JBL Tune 120 TWS, they seemed to me quite solid (although there were nitpicks), they served for 1.5 years and ordered to live long. It was necessary to take something up to 4 thousand (because some people are strangling to take more expensive). I decided to get acquainted with the Skullcandy brand, the reviews for this model are generally positive. I took it in the blind, there was nowhere to listen and touch. Well, what can I say, I didn’t lose - it’s almost a fairy tale - you get it right out of the box, put it in your ears and dissolve, they sit like a glove, they don’t stick out of your head for half a meter, like analogues from JBL, they don’t press on the membranes with a vacuum, you don’t need constantly adjust and screw them into the skull so that they sit as they should. With prolonged use, you do not get tired, you almost do not feel them in your ear! But their main advantage, in my opinion, is the sound. I listen at 50% volume even in the metro - thanks to a good fit and high-quality sound, this is enough, I am very pleasantly surprised. In appearance: matte dense plastic on the case and the headphones themselves - it feels expensive, it does not get dirty, the lights are on only when connected and charging. The magnets in the case are strong, the headphones are snapped in with a slight movement, they do not play inside, the lid also sits tightly. Control: one mechanical button on each headphone, it is pressed gently, but accidental pressing is excluded. I don’t use the controls (2-second hold of the button to switch the track, this is debatable). Well, the microphone, it is here, but you will not be heard well during the conversation. Many times better than on the JBL Tune 120 TWS, but still not good. In the end, I definitely recommend to buy.

Pros
  • Good surround sound, bass and volume are more than enough, comfortable fit, ears do not get tired, they do not press on the membranes, pleasant materials, like plastic, but somehow dense, "expensive".
Cons
  • Microphones never learned how to make up to 5 thousand in TWS. The case is compact, fits in a fist, but due to its shape it will bulge in your pocket (for me this is a trifle, but maybe it will be critical for someone).
