First I bought the tool from KD and received the tool with Tooth Wrench. I was trying to use this tool to replace the 9 inch rear brakes on my Ford Ranger. Since my brakes have a small side that uses large retaining springs, this tool is useless because the large side is too thick metal, causing the tool to drag along the brake shoe. I ended up using a cheaper tool that was made differently and worked much better. The design of this tool made it painful to use as the small end dug into your hand when you tried to squeeze the spring. I tried to save money and space in my toolbox by buying one tool for two. the size of the brakes, but this tool will eventually either be thrown away or never used
