Review on 🔧 Enhanced Replacement Extruders: CHPOWER Extruder Upgrades for Optimal Performance by Sean Bouchard

I recommend staying away from this product. Real metal of decent quality but that's about it. The first issue I had was the spring tension on this unit, the factory unit had more spring tension and it's not enough to prevent the extruder from skipping as I assume that's why you buy that. However, you can fix it by either replacing the spring or heating and stretching it a bit. I decided to stretch mine, it worked for a short time and the spring eventually returned to its original size. The second problem with this unit, it has the same problem as the factory bearing, when the pilot bearing is tightened it protrudes just below the bracket and connects to the bottom plate as it did with the factory fit which unfortunately has a little play and causes your extruder to skip. I'm not saying it's the worst product but in terms of quality it just isn't there, with a little work I'm sure it will be acceptable but the choice is yours I hope it helps have a nice day.
