I had Samsung tablets and liked them a lot so I thought that because of the brand name it would be safe to buy this tablet. What a terrible mistake. I have several kids who need tablets for school, piano lessons, and more, so I try to buy affordable tablets that work. I haven't had any luck with cheap tablets that don't have big brands, so I jumped when I saw this in the Prime Day sale. Even on first launch, right out of the box, the tablet was so unacceptably slow (10 seconds to register a single touch) that I couldn't even create more than one user. By the time the touch is registered sometimes the screen has already expired and locked. It's also difficult to clear the lock screen because it times out when it registers the touch you want to use with the tablet. The most unfortunate thing is that I already bought a protective case and Skinomi Tech Skin. Screen for a tablet (and I've installed them before). For this reason, a return is not worthwhile. Next time with another tablet brand I'll try it to make sure it works well before buying cases and screen protectors. Don't let the price fool you. Find something else. I assume that more expensive Samsung tablets don't have this problem, but based on personal experience I won't find out. If anyone has any recommendations for affordable Android tablets, I'd appreciate a tip :-)
